The historic King Edward Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Banff. It was built in 1904 and is the second oldest hotel in Banff after the Banff Springs Hotel. Over the years it has been well kept up and it features 21 modern, clean rooms with all contemporary amenities to relax and enjoy. It offers friendly and helpful staff as well as reasonable rates. Within a 2 block radius there is all your heart desires. You will find everything from museums, art galleries, shopping, dining, to nightlife and of course there is plenty of nature around us for you to explore. If you love eating you’ll never have to eat twice in the same place during your stay. We have everything from formal four diamond fine dining to MacDonald, from all kinds of ethic cuisines to an authentic Western Steak within two blocks. And if you overate, have a nice stroll down by the river to watch the Bow Falls with the majestic Banff Springs Hotel in the background. Being so close to everything people usually say when they leave It like downtown living in the middle of the wilderness.
